Plants produce huge paddle-shaped leaves that grow to 2′ wide and to 6’ long. Cream to yellow flowers may appear in summer on mature plants followed by inedible green fruit. Simple to grow, give it plenty of water, fertilizer and sunlight. Great container accent. Bring indoors in the colder months and enjoy this as a huge indoor plant.

Yes!  This ornamental banana tree will warm up your landscape instantly.  This banana tree does not produce edible fruit, but it will produce jealous glances from your neighbors when they see your tropical paradise.  This extremely vigorous banana grows many feet in a season and in time forms large clumps that can reach up to 13 feet in height.  Although it does produce bananas, they are inedible.
