Glamour Red is an excellent achievement in breeding for its unique shiny leaves. The waxless quality of the leaves makes them shiny with a more intense, vivid color as compared to existing ornamental brassicas. Judges noted that the shiny foliage is striking in the landscape and it out-performed comparisons with outstanding success.

Flowering Kale
Among the first ornamental cabbages to show its cold-weather hues and the last to bolt, Color Up is a dependable performer—and so striking. Also called ornamental cabbage, flowering kale is in the same plant family as edible cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli. Flowering kale is edible, but a bitter flavor means leaves are usually reserved as culinary garnishes, not as food. It thrives in cool weather, often taking center stage in the garden during spring and fall.
