Description
Castor Bean
Native to Africa, the Castor Bean is a dramatic tropical plant featuring leaves as big as dinner plates and attractive seed pods. It can easily grow 8 feet in a single season; the height makes an eye-catching backdrop in the garden and adds intrigue to bland borders. Flowers are produced in dense inflorescences 8-18″ tall at the tops of the stems. Every part of this plant is poisonous if ingested, so plant with caution.
