Petunia Mambo Sky Blue

Petunia  peh-TEWN-yah

Mambo Series:  Mambo Petunias, the benchmark for genetically dwarf multiflora petunias, have a compact plant habit but show good vigor in the garden. The genetic compact plants are, for a multiflora petunia, topped with extra-large showy flowers. Plants are non-stretching so at the end of the summer when petunias are known to get rather leggy, Mambo maintains it compact height but will have a slightly wider plant spread than other petunias, filling in gardens and landscapes more quickly.  Mambo is a perfect performer in hanging baskets, borders and landscape with profuse quantities of flowers for garden color throughout the season.  Mambo has fast recovery from weather/rain damage and is easy to grow with little maintenance.

Mambo Sky Blue: Mambo Sky Blue petunia is smothered in huge, stunning light lavender-blue trumpet-shaped flowers with white eyes from mid spring to fall.

Description

Petunia  peh-TEWN-yah

Pretty petunias are one of the most popular flowers because of their exceptional blooms and long flowering period. These colorful annuals can really add interest to a front lawn and are often used in borders, containers, hanging baskets or even as a seasonal groundcover. Some even have a slight fragrance. The most important requirement for growing petunias successfully is a location with plenty of light.  Many varieties will thrive even if the soil is not rich and have undemanding requirements for watering. Some petunias are more suited to container growing, while others are better for massing in the garden. Whether you like the old-fashioned types or the fancier, new varieties, there truly is something for everyone when it comes to petunias!
