Description

Calibrachoa (Million Bells)   kal-ih-bruh-KOE-uh

Proven Winners Superbells® Series:

Calibrachoa, also known as million bells, is one of the most popular plants for growing outdoors in containers. Prove Winner’s Superbells® Calibrachoas offer a series of dense, herbaceous annuals with a trailing habit of growth, eventually spilling over the edges of hanging baskets and containers. Superbells® medium texture blends into the garden, but can always be balanced by a couple of finer or coarser plants for an effective composition. Calibrachoa are easiest to grow in containers and hanging baskets. If the roots are kept too wet it can lead to root rot diseases. In containers, allow the top of the soil to dry before watering again. Calibrachoa can be fantastic in-ground plants, but only if they are planted in well-drained soil. Raised beds would be a good choice for planting Calibrachoa in the landscape. Proper watering is key to growing good Calibrachoa. The plants are low-maintenance with no deadheading needed. They will do best if fertilized on a regular basis.
